Planning For Your Children's Future

The children of Castle Hills will have access to one of the nation's finest educational systems, thanks to the planning and foresight of the H.R. "Bum" Bright Family.

The Bright Family's commitment to providing unprecedented educational opportunities to the children of the community led to the creation of the Castle Hills Schools Foundation.

This unique, non-profit corporation has contributed more than $2.8 million to area schools serving Castle Hills since its inception. It is funded by a fee of 1/2 of 1 percent of the sales price on the transfer of all real property within the community. The fee is imposed on the sale of both commercial and residential property, creating a significant subsidy for the residents of Castle Hills. The system assures that future generations of families living in Castle Hills will continue to receive innovative and generously funded educational support for their children.

As of May 29, 2008, the Castle Hills Schools Foundation has contributed $2,893,967.50 to support education for residents of Castle Hills.
