"Castle Hills offers the warm and friendly environment my husband and I had growing up." --the Hammetts, new homeowners The Hammett family, Katherine, Daryl, Jarryd and D.J., aren't native Texans. But they're finding their experience in the Lone Star State more than they'd ever hoped for--thanks to a new job transfer, friendly folks and their new home at Castle Hills. "We relocated in June from Washington, D.C., and we researched schools and communities quite a bit," said Katherine Hammett. "The neighborhood we would live in depended a great deal on where our children would attend school." The reputation of the schools (supported by the Castle Hills Educational Trust Fund) led them to Castle Hills. And they immediately felt at home. "We've become very close to all our neighbors," said Daryl. "And growing up as an avid golfer, I was excited about the prospect of having such a great course so close." In fact, the Hammett's new home is just a chip shot away from an 18-hole Jay Morrish-designed course complete with an Arnold Palmer Golf Academy. The Hammetts also appreciated the impressive lineup of homebuilders. Castle Hills also boasts acres upon acres of parks, sparkling lakes, greenbelts and the famous dragon park. A new community center, pool, tennis courts and a basketball court open in this summer. The family has a few other endeavors, too. Jarryd is on the football team at his middle school and the whole bunch volunteers their time working in homeless shelters and soup kitchens. The Hammetts: nice people in a nice area called Castle Hills. Back to Testimonials |
