Did you know that Castle Hills is served by some of the best public schools in the state? Hebron High School is rated "exemplary" by the Texas Education Agency and offers outstanding college advanced-placement courses. Killian Middle School serves grades 6 through 8 with the most technologically advanced campus in Lewisville ISD. Castle Hills Elementary School, also rated "exemplary" by the Texas Education Agency, offers a state-of-the-art computer lab. Independence Elementary School became the flagship technology elementary school upon opening in August 2008 with a fully equipped computer lab and technology education classes. Welcome to the families who made Castle Hills their new home over the summer. Sixty-six homes were sold in Castle Hills from June 1 to August 15, making Castle Hills the new home for 66 more families. Just in time for school to start.
Did you know that the first homes in Castle Hills were built in 1998? Now, there are more than 2,200 families that are a part of the Castle Hills community.

A New Lease on Family Healthcare in Castle Hills Village Shops

The Castle Hills Village Shops announced today the fall 2010 opening of Castle Hills Chiropractic in the Castle Hills Village Shops and Plaza. Dr. Dawn Batiz Blagg, who holds a B.S. in biomedical science, is a licensed doctor of chiropractic care and a certified chiropractic sports practitioner. Her clinic will specialize in enhancing sports performance and treating sports injuries, as well as offer healthcare services and preventative care to the entire family.
"Dr. Dawn," as patients refer to her, will consult with and educate patients in all facets of chiropractic care, services and benefits. She diagnoses and treats patients with various health problems associated with the muscular, nervous and skeletal systems and works to correct any disorders of the skeletal or spine that may interrupt the flow of nerve impulses throughout the body.
"I'm excited about joining the Castle Hills Village Shops," says Dr. Dawn. New patients will be able to take advantage of grand opening specials including a $49 special featuring a consult, examination, X-ray and a patient goodie package.
TRU Beauty in Castle Hills

The Castle Hills Village Shops and Plaza is excited to announce it newest tenant: TRU Salon. TRU Salon at the Castle Hills Village Shops will offer cuts, color, spray tanning, makeup application and hair and lash extensions and be open in the fall of 2010.
TRU Salon's original location, in the Uptown Dallas area, was recently featured in Allure magazine's August 2010 issue as Dallas' "Prime Cut," or the place for hair care and style services in Dallas. The salon was also featured in Daily Candy as the place to "be tru to yourself" with comprehensive salon services in a truly fabulous setting.
"Having TRU Salon in the Village Shops allows us to offer Castle Hills residents and neighbors very high-level salon services," says Tanya Carpenter of TRU. "We're excited to be part of a great community and look forward to opening our second location in the Village Shops this fall."

Bright Realty Returns as Title Sponsor of Big Brothers Big Sisters 2010 Celebrity Golf Classic

Bright Realty is pleased to partner again this year with Big Brothers Big Sisters as the title sponsor of the 2010 Bright Realty Celebrity Golf Classic. This is the second year that Bright Realty has served as title sponsor of the event that teams sports and media celebrities with participants for 18-holes of golf at Las Colinas Country Club. All proceeds from the event on Monday, September 20, 2010, will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters. In 2009, the Bright Realty Celebrity Golf Classic raised in excess of $320,000 for the children of North Texas.
The Bright Realty Celebrity Golf Classic kicks off with the Cantina Laredo "Party at the Palladium" on Saturday, September 18, at the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas. Celebrity participants will join golfers and their guests for a night of celebration, live music and gourmet food provided by the fine chefs at Cantina Laredo. Golfers will unite again that following Monday, September 20, 2010, for an 8 a.m. or 2 p.m. shotgun start at Las Colinas Country Club in Irving.
