Community Garage Sale a Success

The Women's Club of Castle Hills organized a community garage sale on Saturday. The sale proved to be a big draw for people not only within the community, but outside the community, as well. From 8am to noon, a constant flow of foot traffic and cars had booth operators making trips home to replenish their booths as items were selling quickly. All the proceeds from the booth sales supported the WCCH charitable efforts and scholarship program.

Successful Boot Camp Raises Money for Charity

The mission was clear. Have fun working out and support a great cause while doing it. Live Wire Fitness held a Charity Boot Camp to raise money for The Society for Mucopolysaccharide Diseases (the MPS Society), a voluntary support group founded in 1982 for children and adults suffering from Mucopolysaccharide and related lysosomal diseases. Great music added to the workout as more than 100 participants rotated through three different stations including a run through an obstacle course.

The Smurfs Movie Brings in a Crowd

Another FREE Movie Night at The Plaza and "The Smurfs" brought in more than 100 people who set up chairs and blankets even as the night sky teased a possible thunderstorm. The cloud cover and breeze actually offered a comfortable night of movie watching. Thanks to the families who braved the drizzle and stayed to the end of the movie!

Save The Date For A Great Father's Day Weekend Activity

Several episodes of this season's "The Haney Project," a popular Golf Channel show featuring golf legend Hank Haney, were filmed in our own backyard! Check out Hank golfing with celebrity chef Mario Batali and model Angie Everhart at The Lakes at Castle Hills. The shows start tonight on the Golf Channel.

The year's most outstanding work in residential real estate sales, marketing and design was honored by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) at February's National Sales and Marketing Awards gala, the building industry's most prestigious event.

A diverse panel of industry professionals from across the country selected national gold award winners from more than 700 entries and Castle Hills was named Community of the Year!
